I designed a logo for procon.org that was one out of two finalist from 266 logos from designers from 18 countries. I felt pretty confident my design was going to win but in the end it was decided against because apparently a thumbs up means “up yours” in certain middle eastern countries. Perhaps someone should tell this guy
Procon.org is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) public benifit corporation whose purpose is to inform the public about controversial issues using facts, news, and hundreds of diverse opinions in a pro-con format.
